Welcome from Mr Harvey

Dear Parents, Guardians and Visitors,

It is with great joy and a deep sense of purpose that I welcome you to St Nicholas' Primary School, Carrickfergus.

As the principal, I feel truly honoured to lead a school that is not only rich in tradition but also vibrant in its commitment to nurturing every child’s unique potential.

At St Nicholas' we pride ourselves on being a special and inclusive community, where every child is valued, respected, and encouraged to flourish. Our school is a place of high-quality learning, where innovation meets inspiration and where children are empowered to explore, create and grow in confidence.

Rooted in our spiritual ethos, we strive to instill values of kindness, integrity, and compassion in all that we do. We believe that education is not just about academic achievement, but about developing the whole child—spiritually, emotionally and socially.

Together with our dedicated staff, supportive families and wider community. We aim to provide an environment that is innovative, inclusive and forward-thinking, preparing our pupils not only for the next stage of their education but for life beyond the classroom.

I look forward to working in partnership with you as we continue to build a school where every child shines.

Warm regards,
Mr B Harvey
Principal
