Working With Others...
St. Nicholas' staff and pupils are involved in a whole host of exciting activities and learning opportunities. We have a diverse faith and cultural population within the school which we welcome and embrace.
We have a strong support network within and beyond our local parish and engage with a wide range of Pre-School, Primary, Post-Primary, FE Colleges and third level education facilities.
We enjoy being part of the parish of St. Nicholas and the community of Carrickfergus and are proud to link in with the Parish website.
We work closely with a number of support agencies e.g. CRED (Community Relations) formerly known as EMU (Education for Mutual Understanding), Comenius Partner Schools, ASD Service (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) and the IDS (Inclusion & Diversity Service) to ensure that all our pupils and particularly those with Special Educational Needs or English as an Additional Language have full access to the whole curriculum, a breadth of cultural learning opportunities and all the exciting and wide-ranging events that make up the life of St. Nicholas' Primary School.
We also work in partnership with our Post-Primary Specialist Schools like Ulidia College(Digital Arts), Carrickfergus Grammar (Science) and Belfast High (MFL).
Have a look at some of the exciting events we have taken part in.
